Places to eat

D’ Talipapa- buy your seafood and have it cooked at one of the nearby shops.  Typical prices as follows:  crab P330/kilo, medium squidP180/kilo, large squid P190/kilo, orange lobster P700/kilo, large prawns ( not tiger) P350/kilo

Cooking fee: P130-150 depending on cooking style – chilli, gata, lemon/butter.

Grilled, steamed, oyster sauce.

Shopping at D'Talipapa

Aria at D'Mall – not cheap but good. Pizza, pasta and Café del Sol for dessert

Chicken Inasal at D’mall – pancakes, Thai food, lemon grass and passion fruit shake, kid friendly, look for Crystal – Kat’s friend

Mister Donut at D'Mall - quick doughnut and coffe fix

Andok’s at D’mall- chicken, liempo and soft serve ice cream

Cyma at D’mall – Greek food, not cheap but good, family style pasta servings – clam pasta

AB Foodhouse in front of the main road of D’mall Palengke – cheap Filipino food, just point at what you want

True Foods – Good Indian food, not cheap

Hawaiian Barbecue - Baby back ribs

Jony’s – Mexican food, Banana peanut shakes, other shakes

Croissants in the morning at the Eiffel Tower (  not sure of the name of the place) – between station 1 and D’mall

Café Breizh - crepes

Julie’s Bakeshop at D'Malll – pan de coco.  Get it fresh and hot.  Ask the girl what time it will be done.  Best when it’s fresh from the oven.

Grocery Store: Budget Mart or Crafts– at the end of D’mall facing the main road.  For supplies

Miggy’s Place outside the Kalibo airport – Filipino food and sandwiches
